William's Wish Wellingtons

Ever pretended that you had a special item that could grant you wishes? William doesn't have to because he's got a very special pair of wellies! William's Wish Wellingtons!

When William's Mum bought him a new pair of boots he discovered a note inside: "These are Wish Wellingtons, put them on and make a wish." William Stevenson could now wish himself anywhere in the world, or ask for anything he wanted - which sometimes got him into a spot of bother, such as the occasion when he wished he had the biggest conker in the world in order to win his school's conker championship, or the time when he put his wellingtons on the wrong feet and almost prevented Santa Claus from making his deliveries on Christmas Eve (with a series of wishes gone wrong).

The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest

Time for some world spanning action now in the Real Adventures of Jonny Quest!

14-year-old Jonny Quest invariably finds adventure in exotic locations around the world with his father, renowned scientist/explorer Dr Benton Quest. They are accompanied by Benton's adopted son and assistant, Hadji; Dr Quest's personal bodyguard, Race Bannon; and Jessie Bannon, Race's teenage daughter. And, of course, Jonny's faithful dog Bandit. One more exotic locale has been added to the travelogue - QuestWorld, a virtual-reality system invented by Benton Quest.
Questworld is employed in recreating imaginary or otherwise inaccessible environments. The Questworld system has since been expanded by his son, Hadji and Jessie to include recreational uses as well. In the course of their adventures, the Quest team runs into resistance from a number of sources, ranging from former KGB operatives to their own government to the forces of nature herself. They also receive help from fellow seekers after knowledge, and sometimes from unexpected sources - such as a renegade nuclear submarine captain who targets whaling boats.

Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys

Intergalactic space adventure now, with Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys!

During the monkey-manned spaceflights of the 1960s, one rocket veered off course, sending a chimp named Charlie off into the outer reaches of space. After many years, Charlie’s craft was discovered by the most intelligent race in the universe, The "       " (pronounced by not saying anything. Then followed with the explanation that their race is so advanced that their name cannot be pronounced; only thought. The running joke then had the other space monkeys asking, “The who?”)
Charlie was given enhanced intelligence, weapons, and futuristic technology, along with a charge to protect the universe from the evil Lord Nebula. One of the more unusual villains in cartoon history, Nebula was a half-human, half-black hole who hoped to become a complete black hole, swallow the universe in a “Big Crunch,” then remake it in his own image. His one problem was that, being half human, he was still susceptible to human ailments, such as the common cold and tummyaches.
To aid Charlie (who was given the title "Captain Charlie Simian"), The "       " allowed him to recruit a team of fellow earth monkeys: Shao Lin, a Chinese golden monkey with swift fighting skills and serene wisdom; Spydor, a wisecracking little spider monkey with a long prehensile tail; Dr. Splitz/Splitzy, an orangutan with a scientist/madman split-personality; and Gor, a big, strong gorilla who wrecked the intelligence-enhancing machine before he got a full helping.
The group cruised the stars in their ship, the Primate Avenger, battling Nebula and his cyborg monkey henchman, Rhesus 2, and searching for the ever-elusive bananas. The monkeys mixed fast-talking humor with fast-paced action.
