She-Ra Princess of Power

I'm surprised thta I haven't posted this before now, but better late than never! It's He-Man's sister, She-Ra!

King Randor and Queen Marlena from planet Eternia, had twins, a girl and a boy named Adora and Adam. Hordak, leader of the Evil Horde, kidnapped Adora and escaped to Etheria, where Adora was raised as the Force Captain of The Horde. Adora's uniform – which she continued to wear throughout the series, even after defecting to the Rebels – consisted of a red leotard with long white sleeves, matching boots and gauntlets, and a black belt.
The Sorceress sent Adam and Cringer to the planet Etheria to give the sword the Sorceress gave him to Adora. The Sorceress reveals to Adora that she was kidnapped by The Horde when she was a baby and that she had a twin brother. By repeating "For the honor of Grayskull" she is transformed into She-Ra. She releases He-Man and jumps from a window, crashing into the Horde stables, landing atop Spirit who is transformed into Swift Wind, a winged talking unicorn. They fly ahead to warn The Rebellion. He-Man and She-Ra return, but she decides she must return to Etheria so that she can help free the planet from Horde oppression.
Adora, having been trained by the Horde her entire life, assumes leadership of the Great Rebellion. The epic battle to free Etheria from the grip of the Evil Horde rages on, spreading across the corners of the planet. Through this war, She-Ra calls upon her allies across the globe, using their special talents to battle against Horde creations. Whether or not She-Ra and her forces were ever successful in defeating the Horde was never revealed.
When Adora transforms to She-Ra, two castles are shown in the background. The first is Castle Grayskull. The second is the Crystal Castle. The Crystal Castle is located at the top of Skydancer Mountain and is overseen by an entity called Light Hope, who advises She-Ra in times of crisis. It should be noted that the Crystal Castle's location is known only to Argo (the King of Trolls), She-Ra, and He-Man (she brought him there one time); She-Ra has sworn to secrecy its location, thus earning the title of "Defender of the Crystal Castle."

Captain Pugwash

Let's set sail for high seas with Captain Pugwash!

Captain Pugwash was a pirate of the high seas who commanded the ship, The Black Pig. He was supported in his adventures by his able crew, Pirate Barnabas, Master Mate, Pirate Willy and Tom the Cabin Boy. Captain Pugwash's search for the hidden treasure involved him in all sorts of terrible mishaps including the odd scrape with his arch-enemy, Cut-throat Jake, the Pirate Captain of the Flying Dustman.

Contrary to popular belief, the names of Captain Pugwash's crew were not in any way smutty! Which the Guardian newspaper (UK) found out to its cost, when they published an article about the programme characters having smutty names, such as Seaman Staines and Master Bates. A lawsuit on behalf of John Ryan ensued and the paper had to print an apology and pay damages.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

Time for some awesome kung-fu fighting, giant robot transforming, monster ass kicking with the original Power Rangers!

The series takes place in the fictional town of Angel Grove, California. On an exploratory mission, two astronauts discover an extraterrestrial container (referred to as a dumpster as a result of its smell) and breach the unit, inadvertently releasing the evil alien sorceress Rita Repulsa from 10,000 years of confinement. Upon her release, she and her army of evil space aliens set their sights on conquering the nearest planet: Earth. The wise sage Zordon, who was responsible for capturing Rita Repulsa, becomes aware of her release and orders his robotic assistant Alpha 5 to select five "teenagers with attitude" to defend the Earth from Rita's attacks. The five teens chosen are Jason Lee Scott, Kimberly Hart, Zack Taylor, Trini Kwan, and Billy Cranston. Zordon gives them the ability to transform into a fighting force known as the Power Rangers, providing them with an arsenal of weapons at their disposal, as well as colossal assault machines called Zords, which can combine into the Megazord.

Street Sharks

What ooze did for Turtles in the late 80's, 'Gene Slamming' did for Sharks in the 90's! It's Street Sharks!

A university professor named Dr. Robert Bolton had invented a gene-manipulation device for peaceful uses on animals with his fellow professor named Dr. Luther Paradigm. In the first episode, Dr. Paradigm tested his gene-manipulation techniques (which was referred to as "gene-slamming") on a marlin and a lobster which resulted in the creations of Slash and Slobster. Dr. Robert Bolton attempted to destroy Paradigm's research and was transformed into an unseen inhuman monstrosity by the evil scientist using the gene-slamming device on him before escaping. Dr. Paradigm later kidnapped Bolton's four sons John, Bobby, Coop, and Clint to transform them into sharks. As soon as they are gene-slammed after their bodies were washed down the river, the four brothers ate a hot dog stand upon their transformation and fled from the police by diving into a lake and burrowing their way into the city by eating the dirt. When Dr. Paradigm captured their friend Bends, the Street Sharks had to save him which ended with Dr. Paradigm accidentally getting gene-slammed with piranha DNA which turned him into Dr. Piranoid. With help from Lena and Bends, the brothers planned to capture Dr. Paradigm so that they could force him to return them to their human selves and expose Dr. Paradigm's genetic experiments.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Let's have a little bit of music today folks, with Alvin, Simon and Theodore!

Alvin and the Chipmunks is an American animated music group created by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. for a novelty record in 1958. The group consists of three singing animated anthropomorphic chipmunks: Alvin, the mischievous troublemaker, who quickly became the star of the group; Simon, the tall, bespectacled intellectual; and Theodore, the chubby, impressionable one. The trio is managed by their human adoptive father, David (Dave) Seville. In reality, "David Seville" was Bagdasarian's stage name, and the Chipmunks themselves are named after the executives of their original record label. The characters became a success, and the singing Chipmunks and their manager were given life in several animated cartoon productions, using redrawn, anthropomorphic chipmunks, and eventually films.

Thomas the Tank Engine

Let's take a trip to Sodor and see what Thomas and his friends are up to!

The island of Sodor is a lovely picturesque place that is lush in greenery and has a a great rail network which uses steam trains. Unlike most steam trains, these ones have faces and their own personalities. They all want to be the best for the Fat Controller, who runs the railway. Most of the trains come back to Tidmouth Sheds in the evening to rest for the next day. Thomas is a cheeky, fussy little Engine who works for The Fat Controller on the beautiful Island of Sodor. He often gets into scrapes, usually by being over-eager to do things best left to bigger and more sensible engines. However, clouds never last long in Thomas's life, and he's soon bustling about again in the Station Yard or on his very own branch line, of which he is extremely proud.

Avenger Penguins

Big City needs help! Time to call in the Avenger Penguins! Another great show from the makers of Count Duckula and Dangermouse!

The story revolves around three bike riding Penguins that inhabit Big City, uniting to protect it and its citizens from the evil Caractacus P. Doom, an insane and reclusive criminal scientist. The Penguins attempt to prevent Doom's schemes but find themselves often hampered by their own miscommunicating and occasional scraps with other biker gangs infesting Big City, such as The Stink Brothers, a canine squad of Hell's Angels.
The cast, like Danger Mouse and Count Duckula had with David Jason, boasted a star talent in a major role, this time in the form of Mike McShane as the Penguin's un-coordinated but brash leader Marlon, as well as the villainous Doom. To show how the series was mocking the often rushed animation style of the original TMNT series, two supporting characters known as "The Badly Drawn Brothers" were always left with the design construction lines still showing out of deliberate neglect.
