Grim Tales is an animated British television program based on fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, featuring Rik Mayall as the storyteller dressed in his pyjamas and dressing gown. In every episode Rik sat in a over stuffed chair complete with claws and legs and would tell whacky versions of such fairy tales as Rupunzel, and The Little Tailor. The stories were also told through cartoons and puppet animation that would appear while Rick was telling his story.
